Well ... I'm done with all of that, hopefully we can just keep with the mindset of "No news is good news". Even though we've been "No news" thing it for about 3 months already.
Ok, now I'm really done. We do actually have some news of note. We have started a baby class and it seems pretty good (I'm a great judge of baby classes you know). It is every Saturday and we have gone to two and have two more left. We also took a little tour of the hospital and were able to talk to the tour guide, which was very interesting and nice that we were able to see where our little guy will be born and got that checked off of our list. We also registered with Babies R Us and wow that was a hoot. Two hours into it we had made it through the bottle area. What a long drawn out bit of awesome that was, but, good news it's done. Jealous?
Also, we (a few weeks ago) purchased and assembled a crib, dresser, armoire, toy box and last but not least ... bead roller coaster.
And finally what WE think is important in regards to the baby. He is in there and, much to his mother's displeasure (when he finds her bladder), moving and kicking and jumping and ... did I mention kicking? There are times where he kicks like crazy and can be seen from the outside. So it's pretty neat how much he is growing and moving, very special indeed. So again sorry about the huge gap between posts, but until all of this was typed there didn't seem like much. Enjoy the pictures and we'll see you next time.
Week 24 Day 1
Week 24 Day 7
Here is our new crib (located in our bedroom) with our first baby blanket handmade by Grandma Hilton.
Our armoire with our currently short Precious Moments Baby Train on top, our baskets inside and a blanket and key set also from Grandma and Grandpa Hilton. You can see the crib right next to it on the right (for reference if you have been to our apartment before).
Here is our changing table located near the fish tank, also containing some baskets.
This of course is the little guy's toy box and BEAD ROLLER COASTER (professionally assembled by Momma).
Hope you enjoyed all of the neat things we were able to get and then find places for. Goodbye my TV, I will miss you. And again see you next time.
P.S. Did you notice all the ghosts. Wow
Okay!!! Thats about enough of the so called pleasant Dr. telling you nothing. I"ll find a crystal ball for her and I won't be a very nice Nana about it. She needs to remember my baby girl is having her 1st child and she better get her act together. Daddy Heath you have every reason to send her back to compassion school, wow what happens when little momma starts labor, will the ghosts have to take over for her...
ReplyDeleteAny way now Nana is over that, the new additions to the "Buns" room look terrific, I will be visiting the registry today to see what my little guy will need... I miss you guys and glad things are hopefully going well See you soon Momma
I am so glad to hear that things are going well. I will be looking at your registry and you should be getting a gift soon. Paige and I sent you something for that sweet little "bun". I miss you both and love you!
ReplyDeleteYay...you are back! Woohoo! Glad things are going well..and sorry the doctor's visits are so boring! I remember those days! Same old thing! But to tell your family to get a crystal ball! I can't believe that! They stink! The baby furniture is super cute...and oh I remember the registering experience...Andy and I had to take a lunch break in the middle of it because we were exhausted and baby was hungry! Miss you guys and take care of the baby bump! Love, Danielle, Andy, and Liam
ReplyDeleteWow! You are being overtaken by ghosts! I'm glad you FINALLY got another post done! jk :-) The new furniture looks really great, now we just have to wait for my wonderful little nephew to make his appearance. Sorry the visits are so boring... don't worry, they'll get more interesting and then you'll wish they hadn't (haha) Love and miss you guys!

Dear Stephanie, Heath and Baby "Bun",
ReplyDeleteI kept looking at your blog and was so happy today you had an update. Sounds like your doctor needs an attitude adjustment to the positive side. Overwhelm her with kindness...it works!! :o) The nursery furniture looks so sweet. Enjoy preparing his room. Stephanie you are looking great...pregnancy agrees with you. I will keep you all in my daily prayers. Take care now and God Bless You.
Ruthie (Grandma Christian)
